An AI research brief with every prospect reply
The outbound system was working and replies were coming in. But every reply meant 30 minutes of manual research before the sales team could say a word. I built an automation that does the research for them and emails it the moment a reply lands.
A reply arrived. Then the research began.
The outbound system on Konnector.ai worked and replies were coming in. The catch: every reply meant about 30 minutes of research by hand, so first responses were slow and prep varied from rep to rep.
The research, done before the rep opens the email.
When a prospect replies, the system researches the person and their company, then emails the sales team a detailed brief. Here's an example.
New reply: AI Demo Prep Brief
- Name
- Alex Morgan
- alex@example.com
- Company
- Example Insurance Co.
- Job title
- Head of Innovation and Adoption
Their reply"Hi, thanks for reaching out."
1. About their company
- Large insurer with thousands of employees and an active AI and digital transformation program.
2. Who they are
- Leads AI initiatives for the underwriting function. The word "Adoption" in the title means the job is getting tools used, not just built.
3. Their influence
- Cross functional change role. Likely shapes how new AI tools reach underwriting and nearby teams.
4. Are they interested? (reply decoded)
A short, polite acknowledgment. A small positive signal: they chose to answer, but have not asked for anything yet.
5. Suggested reply
"Thanks for writing back! Your work sits right at the adoption layer, which is exactly the problem we help with. Would a 20 minute look be useful?"

6. Using any competitor?
- No public sign of a competing tool, so lead with our strengths, not a displacement angle.
7. Demo use cases for them
- AI roleplay between an advisor and a client on a complex policy renewal.
- A daily two minute coaching scenario on explaining AI recommendations.
8. Discovery questions
- Where does adoption stall today?
- How do you measure that tools are actually used?
9. Proof point to use
- The closest customer story in the same industry, then the wider category results if pressed.
10. Positioning to lead with
- Pitch an "AI adoption accelerator", not a generic training platform.
Illustrative example with generic details. Real briefs are personalized to each prospect and are never shown publicly.
From reply to ready, with no manual steps.
A prospect replies
A LinkedIn reply is the trigger.
The system researches
It looks them up and drafts the plan.
The brief lands
Right in the inbox the team already uses.
The rep replies
A human stays in charge of every conversation.
Time back, and better conversations.
Research done by hand now arrives automatically.
The first response goes out while the lead is warm.
Every rep walks in prepared the same way.
Why this pattern works.
Deliver work where people already are
A brief inside the email alert gets used. A dashboard nobody opens does not.
Remove the slowest step
Research was the bottleneck, not outreach.
Keep a human in the loop
The system prepares. The rep decides and sends.
Reusable beyond one team
It works for any team that needs context fast.
